This was the perfect place to stay for our anniversary. The rooms are clean and cozy. Spectacular views! Hearty breakfast is served every day. We had such a great experience we are planning our next trip and have recommended here to our friends.

The Champs is a great hotel when staying in the north of the island of Dominica! Hans & Lise and their staff treat you like family and are so welcoming. Breakfast is delicious, and the dinner menu has different specials each night and all delicious! Rooms have a great view of Cabrits and you’ll see some amazing sunsets from this hotel! Safe, comfortable, and overall a great place to stay!

Wonderful small hotel in the hills above Portsmouth. Comfortable room and bed. Very clean! Nice pool and deck for lounging on. Delicious meals, prepared by an awesome kitchen staff, and served in the open air dining room with sweeping views of the bay, Cabrits Point and Portsmouth. Great pizza! Fun rum tastings, delicious rum punch. Best of all is the lovely, attentive staff. I was well taken care of by owner, Lise, and her devoted team. Can’t wait to go back!

I stayed at they Champs with a small group of people who gathered to participate in Just The Wild. This small hotel perched above town, is a jewel. Wonderful views, especially at sunset. We enjoyed large clean comfortable rooms with balconies, a small but crystal pool (perfect for cooling off after a long boating day), and lovely meals: custom full breakfasts (included) and many delicious suppers (at a reasonable cost) The staff is so friendly, and we soon felt like good friends. I would definitely recommend the Champs to my friends and family.

This is a fully equipped, yet small and unique hotel. It is on a bluff with the best views: rainbows over the ocean in the morning and sunsets that will blow you away in the evening. The rooms are comfortable with everything you need. The pool is perfect. The staff are amazing. The restaurant has great breakfast, drinks, and dinners. They will also help you to accomplish any island activities. I highly recommend The Champs!

We had a great time at The Champs Hotel in Portsmouth, Domininica. It was the right place to experience the whole beautiful Island. Wonderful view to the Ocean and very helpful people in Hotel The Champs. We came with our car to the Hotel, but you also can rent a driver with a car from there. There is much to do all around, or just relaxing. The next beach ist only about 4 Kilometers away.

The Champs provided great service. The room was comfortable with a nice balcony. The pool was clean and a nice place to watch the sunset. Meals were delicious and the complimentary breakfast was diverse and well prepared. We plan to return.

The view was spectacular! Very easy checkin, staff was exceptional, food was lovingly delicious and the bagged breakfast for a very early checkout was above and beyond. The rooms were spacious and unpretentious. The fridge was convenient and the staff supplied anything that was needed.

We stayed at the Champs with our family for two nights and had a great time! The views are the best, as the hotel is on a hill. You can see all over Portsmouth from here. There is a pool with a sun tanning deck which is a nice place to hang out. We were really impressed with the restaurant as they were able to whip up gluten-free vegan food upon request. The food was delicious and quite varied. Parents of young kids will need to keep a close eye on their offspring because the railings are built with big gaps on them and there are a few tall flights of stairs near the rooms.
